I will say that this detergent appears to clean quite well after using it for about a month. I have a two month old and it doesn’t irritate his skin, either. I don’t pretreat things generally due to being so busy, but this detergent has gotten out all spit ups and poops no problem. However, it smells like chlorine. I am not kidding. Or some other chemical, not sure which. If you use fabric softener (Babyganics Loads of Love fabric softener is FABULOUS) it will be fine after you remove from dryer. However, for items that must be line dried, the smell is just too much. One day I washed all my delicates in the washer and hung them to dry. When my husband came home, he walked into the room where the clothes were hung and got a weird look on his face. He too, thought it smelled like chlorine. We will not be buying this again simply because of the smell.
