We have friends and family with other strollers with more bells and whistles and they refer to ours as the porsche of strollers. we have the XLR and it too will go from new born to infant weighing 65 lbs. It came with an adapter for the car seat we just had to buy the car seat. consumer reports rated it excellent which was a factor in our decision WE have a maclaren and we love it. I would take it back but I lost the reciept! The "canopy" part comes off so easily. It actually fell on my daughter today! And it's difficult for me to close it once it's open. Actually pushing it (mind you w/o the canopy) is fine but no better than some other lightweight strollers I've seen. Save your money, get a cheaper one and buy your little one an extra toy with the money you save. I just bought mine and I HATE it. I would take it back but I lost the reciept!
