My wife and I are expecting a baby next month. What are the best pushchairs or prams around. I heard Maclaren are the best. Is that true?

Hi Michael, congratulations on the baby. Maclaren make great pushchairs and prams but if you’re style concious you have to check out Bugaboo Pushchairs. They are the current cool brand to own. They are expensive but you might find a good one on eBay, check out this site that has both new pushchairs and eBay listings.

I can’t give you advice on brands but I do recommend that you buy a pram that allows you to look at your baby when you push. Some prams only allow you to have the baby facing forward which is annoying and makes keeping an eye on them hard.
We found out later that you can buy prams with a movable handle so that you can have the baby either looking at you or sitting looking forward.
I would also recommend getting a pram with four wheels because they are more stable. Hope this helps. Good luck.
I would recommend the bugaboo cameleon as it allows you to have your baby facing you in both the pram and puchchair function which I think is important.
